Hey all,
The weekend of February 6th we actually have two conferences, woohoo! They are VR (Valley Regionals) MUN ands Gaucho (UC Santa Barbara) MUN. These are some awesome conferences, and the information for each is below.
Gaucho MUN -- February 6-7th, 2021 (website linked here, sign ups linked here, and committee assignments linked here)
HW loves Gaucho MUN, and Gaucho MUN loves HW!! In past year, delegates have really enjoyed going to this conference, and it was even a favorite of some of our Secretariat members last year! Additionally, if you're on the hunt for a gavel (Best Delegate, or any award at all, really), this is a great conference to attend. They also have really interesting committees! Here is some more information:
- Committees include SOCHUM & African Union (GA), LBJ's Cabinet (Specialized), Blackbeard's Standoff & ASEAN: The Financial Crisis (Crisis) -- more information linked here
- Background guides can be found under each committee subpage on the website, and
the password is gaucho2021
- Position Papers are not required for specialized/Crisis (WOOHOO!!) but are for GA (sorry!)
- Position Papers are due by first committee session, and can be submitted through

- Position Papers due by first committee session and should be submitted through email to your chair
- Guidelines for position papers can be found here
